I am writing about Tecumeh's sister Tecumapaese and a settler in Canada who was a captive of the Shawnee from 1780-84. She was adopted and called Otawata. i'm told that means White Pigeon. I imagine in my novel that the two women meet when Otawata really Catherine Malott who married Simon Girty in 1784)came to the Shawnee from the Delaware who captured some of her famil in 1780. I would like to visit your museum sometime this coming summer. I was glad to see the bark wigewa. Thank you for what I ave learned here.   Added: April 9, 2013
